We invite Dr. Patrick Gannon, a clinical psychologist, specialized in treating performance anxiety in high-performance musicians, athletes, and other professionals. He will address the anxiety issues and treatment strategies, also possible mechanisms behind the problems and cares. FAUST provides a compact high-level notation to describe sample-level audio effects and sound synthesizers. It also offers advanced compilation techniques (including automatic parallelization) allowing FAUST programs to compete with hand-coded C/C++ programs.
