About Me:

I am a senior research scientist at Adobe Research in San Francisco. My research is primarily in the field of computational audition, which largely involves developing signal processing and machine learning algorithms for various audio applications.

I received my Ph.D. and M.A. from the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University and my M.S. in Electrical Engineering also  from Stanford.

I have previously been a visiting researcher at the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit at the University College London. I have also previously spent time at Microsoft Research and the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering at the lndian Institute of Science.

I am currently a member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Audio and Acoustic Signal Processing and a vice chair of the AES Technical Committee on Semantic Audio Analysis.
