reDesigning Theater/Stanford d.school Presents Timothy Bird: Timothy Bird is a Tony nominated show designer specializing in the integration of video projection into live work. Up until last week he was also a founder and director of Knifedge, a creative collective, and latterly a creative agency, which had been in operation for over 10 years, dedicated to blending art with technology, in the service of storytelling and communication. Alongside the creativity, he has spent a number of years exploring the business of redesigning the financing of theatrical projects such that they can afford the ambitious technical approaches increasingly expected by audiences.
