iZotope is an industry leader in audio signal processing technology for music creation and production. iZotope employees will provide an overview of the company and a behind-the-scenes look at working in the audio industry. We will present concrete examples of algorithms (such as sample rate conversion, noise reduction, beat and rhythmic analysis) that have gone from conception to productization, the engineering challenges involved, and the team needed to make it happen. The discussion will detail how the areas of signal processing, computer science, machine learning, music and business come together to pave the way for the future of audio.
