Jörn Nettingsmeier will talk on how to create a spatial interpretation of "C'est qu'a vu le Cers" by Luc Ferrari (tape) and Vincent Royer (viola, samples, loops) using higher order Ambisonics and Linux. Can 3D spatialization replace or substitute the visual aspects of a live improvised performance?

A certified master craftsman of event engineering specialising in live audio and recording, he has also worked as IT systems administrator, musicology research assistant, teacher of music theory and ropes course climbing instructor.
