The authors describe in detail several pieces composed in this past year for the Princeton Laptop Orchestra (PLOrk). Particular attention is paid to sonic strategies, networking and the conductor, interface design, and game pieces. This paper should function as both a record of the first pieces composed for PLOrk and a guide for future laptop orchestra composers.
