Triple CCRMAlite: 40, 50, 80

Join us for a set events celebrating three important anniverasries in the life and history of CCRMA: 40 years ago the name CCRMA (Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics) was officially used; 50 years since Music IV (a computer music program written by Max Mathews at Bell Labs) arrived on campus; and our founder John Chowning's 80th birthday. This event is produced in collaboration with the Bay Area Science Festival and Stanford's Office of Science Outreach.
