Transitions 2011, Night 1: Acousmatic: Soundscapes under the stars
From industrial sounds to prosaic kitchen utensils, from real voices to audible dreams, through gateways to imagined and real spaces, pure immersive spatial joy. Sound and space carefully crafted and patiently shaped into musical forms coming out of 16.4 loudspeakers surrounding you. Complete darkness, under the stars. Relax, close your eyes, open your ears (wide!) and let yourself be transported to places unheard.
Bring some warm clothes, lay out your blankets, and start the new academic year with 16+ channels of music surrounding you!
