Other Stanford composer, sound artist, educator, and researcher Patricia Alessandrini, along with co-coordinators Joudi Abou-Ayed and Lloyd May, host the hybrid event Centering Disability in Online Musical Experiences.
The event will begin with a JackTrip Jam at 12 noon in the CCRMA Stage, featuring the Stanford New Ensemble with special guests including musicians from ShareMusic & Performing Arts - Sweden, and will continue with presentations from 2PM on, including invited guests Sophia Alexandersson and Nigel Osborne (ShareMusic & Performing Arts), Ruaraidh Osborne (X-system), keynote speaker Eric Harvey (Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis), and other special guests as well as our own CCRMA PhD students, presenting on a range of topics in Disability Design, Co-creative design, AI-driven Co-creativity and musical engagement and inclusion.
