Course Description:
In this critical time of pandemic, social and political upheaval, climate change and more, we are increasingly inundated by data. How we interpret and express data is a critical component of scientific, medical, and sociological research. Across the arts, data is also a source of artistic expression. In this class we will explore the aesthetic implications of data, with particular focus on the uses of sound and music as a means of data representation and expression.
