Hopping Polyphase Filter Bank

When $ 1<R<N$ and $ R$ divides $ N$ , we have, by a similar analysis,

$\displaystyle {\hat x}(n) = \frac{N}{R} x(n-N+1)
$

which is again perfect reconstruction.

Note the built-in overlap-add when $ R<N$ .
