GAPE Compound List

Here are the classes, structs, unions and interfaces with brief descriptions:

• GapeAccumulator (Accumulates samples and sends them out in groups)
• GapeAudioDriver (A simple object which drives a chain of GapeUnits by continually sending out ticks)
• GapeAudioInput (This class provides real time sound input (ie mic or line in))
• GapeAudioOutput (This class provides real time sound output)
• GapeAudioPlot (Superclass for all built in graphical waveform displays)
• GapeConsts (A class containing constant values for the program)
• GapeController (A core GAPE class)
• GapeCosWindow (A unit which will apply a scaling cosine function window to groups of samples it recieves)
• GapeDelayController (A simple controller which can be used to set delays)
• GapeDrawingWidget (This is primarily a utility class to be used with GapeWaveformPalette)
• GapeDrawnWaveformUnit (Used with GapeWaveformPalette to allow users to draw a waveform and hear it)
• GapeFileReader (This class reads in sound files)
• GapeFileSampleUnit (Used to play a sample from a file, and have control over frequency, etc)
• GapeFloat (A #define which determines whether to use a float or a double when storing samples)
• GapeFreqDomainDisplay (Used to show a graphical frequency domain display)
• GapeFreqDomainPlot (Subclasses GapeAudioPlot for an fft freq domain display)
• GapeFunctionUnit (This is a simple abstract superclass fore GapeUnits which generate functions (ie sine wave))
• GapeHalfwaveUnit (Emits a halfwave (ie only positive side of sine wave))
• GapeIntSample (A #define which determines what size integer to use when using integer samples (floating point are always used internally.) This isn't actually a full C++ class, but simply a #define in gapeconsts.h)
• GapeMuteController (A small controller consisting of only a name and a mute box, used for things like audio input/output, etc Also, see the demo program for use of this class)
• GapePowerSpectrum (Can give a log based amplitude rather than a linear one)
• GapeRedrawEvent (A custom event class used for the GAPE controllers threadsafe screen refreshing)
• GapeSawtoothUnit (Emits a sawtooth wave)
• GapeSignalDisplay (GapeSignalDisplay is an abstract superclass for graphical sound displays)
• GapeSimpleController (A general purpose simple controller which can be used to control common paramters such as freq, gain, etc)
• GapeSineUnit (Emits a sine wave)
• GapeSquareUnit (Emits a square wave)
• GapeTimeDomainDisplay (Used to show a graphical time domain display)
• GapeTimeDomainPlot (Subclasses GapeAudioPlot for a time domain waveform display)
• GapeTriangleUnit (Emits a triangle wave)
• GapeUnit (The fundamental GAPE class)
• GapeUnitGroup (This is simply a generic container for GapeUnits)
• GapeWaveformPalette (A controller widget which allows for a waveform to be drawn on the screen)
• GapeZoomableSlider (A simple utility class that allows sliders to be scaled more accurately)
