I am a Master's student in the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (
CCRMA) at Stanford University. I am a research assistant in the Computer Science (
CS) department, where I am advised by
Doug L. James. I have a M.S. degree in CS from Peking University, and my advisor was
Tianshu Qu. My research interests include audio signal processing, computer graphics, spatial audio, and human-computer interaction.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing piano, reading philosophical books, swimming, and playing ping-pong. In Chinese, "Meng" (梦) means dream, and "fan" (帆) means sail, so the meaning of my name is
sailing to my dream.
