Data Mapping Schemes

An inverse mapping scheme attempts to drive a performer from one physiological state to another by selecting musical elements with "activity" levels in opposition to the sensor readings.

  • When a performer is in a state of low GSR, software will choose more active musical cells and vice versa.
  • Elements can be note cells, note dynamics or articulations
