Platforms
As of 11/30/10, the Soniverse is written only for Mac OS X and has been tested only under Snow Leopard version 10.6.4. Little or none of the code depends upon the OS X platform, so it should be straightforward to port to Linux and unstraightforward to port to Windows.
How to Build
The Soniverse is a C++ application with dependencies on many non-standard frameworks and libraries. If you want to build the Soniverse, you will need to take care of some installations first. The following libraries are mandatory components of the build:
- C++ Standard Template Library
- libsndfile
- Secret Rabbit Code
- TinyXML
