CCRMA Studio J (Knoll 106) is a small room, formerly the office of Jay Kadis (hence “J”), now dedicated to acoustics measurement.
The CCRMA acoustics lab is centered around a Polytec PDV 100 laser doppler vibrometer (s/n 0232780) mounted on a massive optical table.
