Hold a piece of paper over the trombone bell and observe its influence at various playing dynamics, as well as at various notes.
Clarinet:
Play clarinet mouthpiece/PVC tube combination. Experiment with the ``register hole''. Why does the improperly placed register hole cause the second resonance to sound sharp?
Attach the clarinet mouthpiece to its body and experiment with the toneholes. Notice the affect of closing holes well below and in the vicinity of the most upstream open hole.
Soprano Saxophone:
Demonstrate the various partials of the saxophone.
Flute:
Experiment with changing the various excitation parameters: jet length, jet velocity, lip opening.
Measure the length of the flute and compare with the lowest sounding frequency.
