- Summary
- This rpm contains no software but requires the kernel components of the Planet CCRMA repository. If installed through apt it will install the low latency kernel version 2.6.16-1.2080.13.rrt.rhfc5.ccrma and the alsa sound driver kernel modules version 1.0.11-1.rhfc5.ccrma. This package will not install all other alsa packages. This kernel incorporates Ingo Molnar's realtime preemption patches (version 2.6.14-rt22. It will have the best low latency performance but is not as stable as the normal kernel.
