For this assignment I focused on making a short song that included a "drop" and also used some shepard tones. I made a rock inspired piece. It starts with a guitar part and some percussion that builds over time. Then, at the drop I used a Kurt Cobain sample that I think is funny. We then go into a quieter synth / shepard tone part. Since this was not a full assignment I used two chuck files and then parsed the results together in my DAW. I also recorded another guitar part to make it more of a song. Here are the files:
Here are the two guitar recordings I used. Both were recorded with an amp simulator in my DAW. I recorded the first one as a "melody" for this assignment. The second is a rhythm part that I had previously recorded and decided to use as the lead up to my drop.
