Abstract

The purpose of this project is to build an efficient sound synthesis tool, which specificity is to be scalable. The algorithm use principal component analysis to reduce the dimension of the synthesis space. Scalability here means that the quality of the synthesis adapts to the constraints of the transmission system (the bandwidth available during the transmission of audio over the network).
