The Celletto
The celletto is an electronic cello invented in the 90s by Chris Chafe that interfaces with computers in different ways.
Pitch, bow position and speed are tracked and the output is often fed through signal processing devices.
By strapping a sensor to the bowing hand, Chris can also control Ligthing, an infrared device that senses position and movement of the left hand and converts it to MIDI data.
