"Falling Drops"
Simulation of Particle Laden Flow Using Particle Method
The acoustic material in "Falling Drops" comes from a recording of
running, dropping, or pouring water, etc. The original sound
sources become sometimes filters, or synthesizers: not only manipulating
these electronic devices, but implying the images in the abstract. Musical
formation in "Falling Drops" may be seen as the reflections of the interior
of a image object, described in different time spans.
Scientific researcher Jens Walther and Composer Seungyon-Seny Lee
designed a multimedia installation to submit for the Gallery of Fluid
Motion, APS, Division of Fluid Dynamics, November 21-23, 1999 in New
Orleans.
