ENGINEER IN ACOUSTICS

Objective: working in application research, working in team.

EXPERIENCE

From Feb. 2002: CCRMA (Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics) at Stanford University, California US. Visiting researcher. Designed 3D sound systems through loudspeakers using three different head models.

Feb. - June 2001: Aalborg University, Denmark. Intelligibility of words played through a loudspeaker masked by diotic speech noise played through headphones. Designed and analyzed listening experiments.

Sep. 2000 - Jan. 2001: Aalborg University, Denmark. 3D sound detection through loudspeakers. Designed system implemented in Matlab, and performed objective and subjective tests.

Feb. - June 2000: Aalborg University, Denmark. Designed an MLS (Maximum Length Sequence) Software for computing the acoustical parameters of rooms. Implemented on DSP C54x.

Oct. 1999 - Feb. 2000: 40/30, France. RF engineer. Designed a test board for RF generator. Trained employees in RF techniques.

Jan. - June 1999: F'Satie (French South African Technological Institute of Electronics) with Alcatel and Telkom, South Africa. Intern. Empirical validation of propagation model for WLL system (Wireless Local Loop). Designed with Radio Planning software Atoll (Forsk), GPS Software Aspen and Pathfinder (Trimble).

EDUCATION

From Feb. 2001: Attended the DSP seminar and Hearing seminar at Stanford University, California US.

Feb. 2000 - June 2001: Master of Science in Acoustics at Aalborg university, Denmark. Major in psychoacoustics.

Sep. 1996 - June 1999: Bachelor of engineering at ESTE (Ecole Supérieure de Technologie Electronique), of ESIEE's group, Paris, France. ESTE is an institute of electronics and engineering technology. Major in telecommunications.
