Galvanic Skin Response (GSR)

Measured changes in skin conductance between two leads

  • Simple "lie detector".
  • Leads connected to performer's toes to reduce artifacts created by finger motion.
  • Socially discrete and non-invasive manner of monitoring physiological state change.
  • Hardware GSR circuit and sensor designed by CCRMA's Jay Kadis.
