Define harmonic distance to be (Klapuri, 2000)
- a,b = possible integers within the range given by the frequency of interest divided by the lowest frequency found (rounded up)
- Choose the starting reference partials from the fundamentals or the most dominant one
- Then start from the weakest one so that spurios peak will be overwritten by the more dominant one
- Group the partial to the group that the total harmonic distance to all those already grouped is less
- If the harmonic distance is too close to decide, leave it for later. The decision is better made when others(relatively unambigious) have been grouped
- Work most of the time but still confusion over coinciding frequency values
- Just assign the same values for initialization
