WIND BLOCKER
Since I live in Northern California, I drive with the top down almost
all the time — often also when it rains.  (Yea, I'm a moto-bike guy, so to me this is still the most comfortable vehicle I have.)
However, I guess all of us who don't mind permanent bad-hair days know how turbulent the cockpit becomes at higher speeds, not to mention how noisy it gets.
And what's the remedy..?
Voila' — a home-made wind blocker.
Okay, so this device might not end up at the Smithsonian — it's
still one of the best hacks I've made, and yet so simple.  The
only fancy thing I did was flame polishing the edges, so that the plexiglass looks like real glass.
