  The Wild-Wild Norway
Only 18 miles from my home, the so-called Preacher's Pulpit
("Prekestolen") hovers 1981 feet above the fjord.   In fact, from
top to bottom of the fjord-floor, there's 4920 feet (deeper than
Grand Canyon), all carved during the ice-age — 3 million years ago.

Yeah, I like cool stuff like this, whether it's the Half Dome or
Grand Canyon, I'm all for it.   But what appeals to me even more
is the unpolished rawness of Norwegian nature, whether it's the pure
hell-hole of Vøringsfossen or the "jump-off" Preacher's Pulpit
(featured here), or click forward to get a glimpse
of the rustic fishing villages of Norway.
Homesick..?   Yes, sometimes.
