Yea, finally I got my act together and lashed out the dough on the
second best shock around -- a Fox Twin-clicker. The reason for getting
a Fox shock is manifold: for years I've had problems with pipe
clearance (see "Pipe clearance fix")
and since those
Foxes are the only ones which have an adjustable ride-height up to
25mm, (Ohlins can only do 12mm), it became a natural choice
for me, (and being Norwegian and all, it felt bad enough to have a
Swedish steering damper). Now I'm kicking myself for not have done
this upgrade earlier, when realizing how bad my stock-shock really was...
especially when it's a known fact that those stock-shocks are the
weaker link on those bikes. By the way, that red thing in the picture
is the shock.
