Header Pipe Modification ($150)

Anyone who's taking an older two-valve Ducati to a race-track with its stock header exhaustpipe is truly in for an unpleasant surprise; sooner or later he'll discover one of Ducati's more embarrassing design flaws as the header-pipe has almost no clearance, making it drag dangerously hard in the turns. There are two options for a fix: get a new header-pipe or do a plumber-job. Of course I went for the latter, not only due to my limited budget, but also because I managed to convince a friend of mine, Johan Ekstrom at Nordic Motors, to rewelded the header-pipes into a more narrow fit.
