If mounting high-swept race-pipes on a Ducati, the passengers footpegs are sacrificed. Well, at the time when I got my Ducati, my girlfriend insisted that I mounted a set of passenger footpegs for her. So I got her some dinky ones.. did some drilling & cutting and then bolted them onto the muffler-hangers and voila; I got a race bike with a passanger option!! Well, those are now the cheapest looking part of the entire bike -- but at least I hear no more nagging about it, (even though her riding position is more of a race-horse jockey's than a motorcyclist's)
