This bass is

my first 5 string bass.

Two Bartolini "soap bar" pickups.
Bartolini TCT active circuit. But it only has two tone control knobs on the bass! You need to open the shielding box to adjust mid range. One master, one balance, and one coax treble-bass controls.
String spacing is adjustable as well as string height, and I've found lo-B string touch very comfortable.
Swamp Ash body, five piece thru' neck construction, 24 fretrosewood fingerboard.

I'm using D'adario medium gauge strings on this ax, but am yet to find out better matching strings. Any taper wound recommendations?
