Pre-CBS era Jazz Bass, refinished. Original matching head color of Fiesta Red. Stock PUs, bridge, Jacaranda fingerboard... Oh, this '63 bass (the neck date is Feb. of '63) has four holes for mutes.
Pickguard in this picture seems white three ply, but actually it is a crashed pearl looking cell.
This bass is one of my main basses, especially for music that needs a good passive tone. I put on the thumb rest to prevent me to play in slap style on this bass:-) I use '70s Jazz for that purpose.
