This composition is the first in a series of generational interpretations of heritage and growth. Heritage #1 begins the series with the child. A child struggles to learn the world. A parent seeks to guide the child through nurturing and expectations. The child clasps and holds on tight. A parent seeks to comfort. A child struggles to find itself. A parent must learn to let go, as they seek to find a shared reality of their world.
