There was open mic at the graduate student center tonight. A few of the other CCRMA grad students went to perform, and I got a chance to play one of my old songs at the end. It was a lot of fun! On the software side, I'm working on integrating my knowledge from last year into a basic MIDI-controlled synthesizer. Work is slow but steady. And still pushing ahead with coursework. I have a lot of things to do but I don't feel overwhelmed yet. It would be nice to get a little bit ahead now though since I am expecting 421 and 422 to ramp up significantly after next week.
