I thought my reverb from 424 was clipping a bit, so I talked with
Jonathan Abel about it.

He said that with long T60s I certainly could be experiencing some
clipping, and that I could try to put some gain on the FDN output
(such as 1/tau).  Which tau to use?  500 Hz might be good.

He said if I bump up the number of delay lines to 16 and do some
balancing of the gains I could end up with a pretty good reverberator.
Something to do for a side project one of these days.
