I was a MA/MST student at Stanford's Center for Computer Research in Music and Accoustics.

This is my weblog.

I finally made some progress on my 220c piece. I have my work
environment in studio E set up, and tracked out a short passage. It's
pretty corny right now but that's why I still have a month to work on
it. I'm still worried about managing control data. There are a few
things I want to try but I'm not sure if any of them will work out.
Even if they don't I should be able to produce something satisfactory.

The dssi architecture file for Faust now supports polyphony. Getting
closer to a releasable state!

ADDENDUM:

Max Matthews, "Father of Computer Music," passed away this morning. I
don't really know what to say. He was a great person and I will miss
seeing him around CCRMA.
