I was a MA/MST student at Stanford's Center for Computer Research in Music and Accoustics.

I'm on campus being oriented. Campus is really big. I'm starting to recognize more buildings and paths. Jason, a recent graduate of a different masters program here at CCRMA who I had met at a previous workshop, was here today. He was working on setting up our site for a networked sound installation for tomorrow's concert. He gave me a quick introduction to the listening room equipment and I helped test a little bit. I listened to the student pieces from the 2010 Sound Arts Intensive. As I understand it, this is a summer course with Stanford undergrads where the students each produce a piece of audio or audio/visual art as a final project. There was a variety of pieces. Some were strongly musical, others conveyed certain sensations, and some were a combination of both. It seems like it would be a fun course to take.
