Ideas

Below are my ideas for my Final project In order as they appear in the below picture:
Idea 1: Musical Tower defense game. Similar idea to a standard tower defense game but towers make sounds when they attack. Contruct a symphony of towers. Potentially build chords out of multiple towers. When a tower is part of a chord it becomes stronger. Maybe different kinds of chords i.e minor/major/7th have different special effects? Figuring out sound system for towers and how they can work together to make complex strategic gameplay will potentially be the biggest challenge.
Idea 2: Musical puzzle game. Level based game. Each level, the player hears a certain sound pattern that they must try and recreate. The interface is a collection of nodes that must be arranged in such a way to produce the goal sound pattern. This might consist of moving the nodes in space, changing sound properties of the nodes like pitch, duration, volume, etc. Complexity of sound pattern increases as levels increase.
Idea 3: Musical survivor rouge like game. First person shooter type game where you just try and survive as long as possible. Start with a basic weapon/gun that is associated with a sound. As you progress get more access to other weapons also assoviated with sounds. Enemies make sounds when they die. Maybe have a level system and each level up get 3 random boons to choose from (hades esq). Every 5-10 levels or something get a new weapon.
