Glowsualizer (2016)

Glowsualizer is a music / audio visualizer built using glowing strings.

You are surrounded by rings of glowing, vibrating strings that are each activated by a different frequency in your input signal. These strings activate ones behind them in a cascade outward. The glowing, vibrating strings also grow in height and become more colorful as they are activated. When you look up, the tops of the strings often resemble the aurora borealis.

Also accompanying the glowing strings are a series of glowing rings, which jump from the floor up to the heavens on detected onsets.

Finally, the scene fades to white as the input signal quiets, in a peaceful transition to calm.
