Keun Sup Lee / bio

Keun Sup Lee received his PhD in Electrical and Electornics Engineering from Yonsei University (DSP Lab) in Korea with a specialty in perceptual audio compression algorithm and its implementation in 2005. After completing his PhD, he worked for Samsung Electronics as a senior engineer in the field of audio and speech S/W design for mobile phones. He developed music post-processing and audio enhancement S/W, and perceptual audio codecs for embedded systems, and provided technical support to sound quality enhancement of Samsung mobile phones. From 2009 to 2011, he researched as a visiting scholar (postdoctoral) on digital audio signal processing algorithms, especially cost-effective artificial reverberation algorithms at Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) in Stanford University. After then, he worked at DTS, Inc. as a senior software engineer and focusing on audio post-processing software development for mobile platforms, and now is working at Apple Inc. IMG Audio Group. His research interests include perceptual audio coding, digital audio effects, real-time DSP implementation for embedded systems and software development for multimedia applications.
