Performance
In this composition, performance modeling is the ability to simulate
in a computer algorithm the mechanics of the maraca already described
which simplifies to the laws of physics governing human body motions
and muscular tension [4, Jánosy, 1994]. These conditions
help to excite vibrations from the instrument components in the form
of sound. The expression modeling program which interfaces with the
PhISEM algorithm and resides in a score file with times, durations and
directions, performs musical gestures. In this sense the clm parser
reads a score file analyzes it and retrieves all parameters for
synthesizing the events in the form of a multichannel sound
file. Please see the examples section for some algorithms which use
these procedures.
