Thanks to samba, I can access the directory /p on my Linux
box as s:\p
, having mapped ``Drive S:'' in Windows to
\\<hostname>\p\
. I have a shortcut to this directory in the
upper righthand corner of my desktop so that I can simply drag text or
postscript files into the spool directory.
From inside programs, it is necessary to ``print to file'' using a postscript printer driver. I always specify the file s:/p/p to minimize typing. The next section describes how to set up printing-to-postscript-file under Windows.
