Printing from Linux

On my Linux machine, I print by copying postscript or plain text files to the directory /p. This directory is watched by the Nextstation Turbo, as described below. To print from ghostview, for example, I ``Save As'' /p/p, or use the ``print command'' cat>/p/p. (If I want to retain the print image on the NeXT machine, I give it a more reasonable name such as /p/myfile.eps. The file '/p/p' is simply a temporary file that is very fast to type.)
