Typical special functions defined in `math.h`, such as
`cos` and `sin`, are either native primitive functions
in FAUST or may be defined as foreign functions. See
`<faustlibraries_distribution>/maths.lib` for the complete
list already incorporated or predefined. The list of incorporated
primitives is given in §3.5.3 (p. 32) of the FAUST Quick Reference,.
All of these functions accept a signal and return a signal computed by
applying the function to each sample.
