3 Different Game Phases

Composition

Compose an 8-beat piece of music using quarter, eighth, and sixteenth notes. You can control pitch and amplitude of individual notes, all notes of the same type, or over the entire composition. Choose your notes wisely since you're only allowed a limited number of notes!

Battle

Now that you've created your composition, battle against the computer and it's composition in a game of logic. By winning, your composition will move on to become a part of the final musical score. There are 8 rounds per match. By winning the nth round, your nth beat is copied into the final composition.

Collaborative Score

At the end of each match, the final composition will grow by 8 beats. The game is ultimately creating a musical piece that combines composition ideas from a human and from a computer.
