I've always been drawn to the visual aspects of the "jelly beans" representation used in MIDI software. Below, you will find my experiments in "drawing" music with this notation, where the resulting music is related to the thing that is drawn. This method opens up some unique possibilities while also imposing a set of interesting constraints that guide the direction of the piece while still allowing room for choice, in a creative, super-nerdy musical problem-solving kind of way.
