Vocal Music Production

I am an audio engineer specializing in vocal music! My work has been nominated for several awards by the Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA). I have judged an ICCA competition, served as an instructor for the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival (LAAF), and volunteered as a nominator for the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs). My mix of Stanford Counterpoint's "Light of a Clear Blue Morning" was recently selected as one of RARB's 2019 "Tracks of the Year" and nominated for a CARA award! I record many of the a cappella groups at Stanford University and run live sound for shows.

I am also an experienced arranger, singer, and vocal percussionist. As an undergraduate at UCLA, I sang with and directed YOUTHphonics A Cappella and helped teach an accredited a cappella class at Fairfax High School in LA. During my masters, I performed with Stanford's treble a cappella group Counterpoint. I currently sing and beatbox for my Bay Area- based group ALIAS.

Stanford Counterpoint's version of "God Is A Woman" o.p.b. Ariana Grande. I did the vocal arrangement and a lot of the recording/production on the track. You can also hear me on the vocal percussion. This video has been nominated for a 2019 A Cappella Video Award (AVA).

The Stanford Mendicants' version of "How Long/ Misbehaving" o.p.b. Charlie Puth and Nina Simone. This song was part of the Mendicants' quarterfinal- winning ICCA competition set in 2019. I recorded and produced the audio for this session.

I recorded and mixed tracks 1 and 2 of The Nightingale Trio's most recent EP.

A "Throwback Medley" of early 2000s hits I arranged, edited, and mixed for UCLA's YOUTHphonics A Cappella.
