SIMON
( SI mulation and MON itoring) is a software package for signal
processing algorithm development, result of an effort to improve
algorithm design and testing phase, which is one of the most
important and painful development phases. Cost and effectiveness
of used DSP chips often depends much more on implemented
algorithms then on their hardware. Extensive testing and
optimization of algorithms is therefore required. SIMON provides
built-in tools and simulation models that make easier developing
new, or improving existing algorithm. As it was written using
XView, currently it runs only on SPARC Stations.
