Below, you can see the 1/2" copper tube's reaction to a single burst of air.
The periodicity of the original waveform derived from the
excitation of the tube was
Period T = 0.0036 sec
Passing this value to the 'echo' function, along with an experimentally-derived attenuation factor yielded the following call to 'echo'
