Ain't Too Proud To Beg - Automated Mix

Did this one with 'ol Sandy Lin as well. We just started with our
previous mix on the Mackie board,
and set up some automations. First we compressed the guitar, without make
up gain, in the verses, so that it would dial back a bit and get out of
the way, not that it really needed it. Then we faded in the vocals, sax
and guitar at the beginning of the song, so that we just start with drums
bass and piano. That was fun. Then I did my famous pan with the beat
trick on the sax during the choruses. I just turn on automation recording
and yank that thing from right to left to the beat - on the measure, then
twice a measure, all kinds of creativeness. Created quite a nice spacey
sax thing.
Oh, and we used different efx. Delays. The drum intro thus sounds
dryer, which I'm digging right now. Enjoy.
